Allen Zaldarriaga

Allen Zaldarriaga excelled in school, yet devoted her life to raising her five children. When eldest son John asked her what she wanted to do with her life, she thought of a project that was closest to her heart. She converted their garage into a preschool. She started with only five students, which included her youngest son Michael. It was a one-woman show – she was the teacher, she prepared the snacks, she did everything. PlayHouse Children’s Center, established in 1992, grew one level at a time into what is now called B.R.I.G.H.T. Academy, offering Grade School to Senior High. The institution was the first venture of what is to become the Pages Holdings, Inc.

Tita Allen, as she prefers to be called, loves children like her own. She runs the school both as a mother and educator, keen on providing the children with a holistic and Positive Education, and the teachers with a continuing learning experience. Her passion is contagious. Children are happy to go to school. With graduates successfully making a positive difference in the world, this school is indeed shining like a BRIGHT star should.

Cheryl Pages-Alba

The only girl among the Pages siblings, Cheryl was not keen on pursuing a career in business even if she graduated with a degree in International Business Management at the Centre for International Education-British School and earned a double major at the Northwood University in Florida.

She was encouraged to join the family business and was entrusted with running My Playroom as general manager. She was also named as creative head for Play House and B.R.I.G.H.T. Academy. Cheryl now runs House of Lechon, Summers, and Taters. She has an eye for detail, especially when it comes to aesthetics and ambiance — a trait she inherited from her mother. She is also transparent to her team and is always open to their ideas — a trait she inherited from her father.

Michael Pages

Michael, the youngest, was among his mother’s first five pre-school pupils. He was also one of the first graduates of B.R.I.G.H.T. Academy. As a young boy, he listened to his family talk about business at the dinner table and looked forward to working with them.

Currently, he handles Sushi Boy, Cafe Racer, and PHI Academy. He is set to lead more upcoming projects soon. Being the youngest, he is still learning about their business. Going about things is easier for him though as he is working with and learning from the best — his parents and older siblings.
